1. Fabric cut to 22″ x 4″ (56cm x 10cm) for a large size
2. Fabric cut to 18″ x 3″ (46cm x 8cm) for a 3.small size
3. And Fabric cut to 16″ x 2″ (40cm x 5cm) for a mini size
4. Sewing machine (Here you can use any sewing machine).
5. A Scissors or rotary cutter, ruler, and cutting mat
6. 2 safety pins
7. 1/4″ wide elastic
8. Hand sewing needle

Now see how to Make a Scrunchie on a Sewing Machine

1. First, measure and cut the fabric. You can cut the fabric in any of the sizes mentioned. Cut the fabric according to the size you want to make the scrunchie.
2. Look, now we will teach you how to make a bigger-sized scrunchie. So you take the cloth of size 22″ x 4″ (56 cm x 10 cm).
3. Now fold the fabric in half and pin the long raw edges ready for sewing.
4. You have created a fabric tube and are ready to sew the long edges together.
5. Use your sewing machine to sew the long raw edges together using cross and straight stitches, leaving about a 5/8″ seam allowance. Be sure to backstitch at the beginning and end of your sewing.
6. Next, place a safety pin on one end of the tube, and then push it in to pull the tube out from the right side.
7. After that, using both the safety pin and the elastic, insert the elastic into the cloth tube. Put one safety pin at one end of the tube and use the other safety pin to insert the elastic to the other end.
8. Pinning the elastic securely to the other end of the tube will help you know not to lose the end of the elastic when you are putting it in. It is very frustrating to lose the other end of the elastic when you are putting it in.
9. There are various ways to secure the ends of elastic together. The first and easiest option is to tie the ends together. The second option is to sew the ends by hand. And the last option is to use a zigzag stitch on a sewing machine to sew the ends together. Our preference is to use a sewing machine to secure the ends together. But do what works best and easiest for you.
